Kyle Stanley – Artist

Fine Art by Kyle Stanley

Oil Painting | Mixed Media

Kyle Stanley is a Kansas City based artist working in oil painting, mixed media collage, and illustration. With a background in Studio Art and Graphic Design, Kyle’s work is shaped by a deep interest in history, storytelling, and the way images accumulate meaning over time.

Built from layers of antique maps, postcards, and printed ephemera, Kyle’s compositions feel archival and immersive. Spectral figures are a recurring presence, emerging from textured surfaces as symbols of memory, folklore, and fable. These figures often inhabit spaces where personal narrative and collective history overlap, drawing from world cultures, myth, and quiet human moments.

Kyle’s work has been exhibited in Kansas City at Leopold Gallery and Jones Gallery, as well as shown in multiple galleries in New Orleans.

He was also selected as a featured artist for The Great American Paint In, a national collection of works created during lockdown. His work is held in private and public collections internationally.
