A Kansas City native, Kyle attended UMKC studying Studio Art and Graphic Design. When not in KC, Kyle enjoys spending time in New Orleans. Kyle’s Art is highly influenced by the rich and unique culture, architecture and history of the Crescent City.

Kyle Stanley’s most recent series of paintings is a transcendental expedition into world cultures throughout the ages. These works are embedded with antique maps, photographs and post cards; adding patina and lived experience to celestial veneers. His mixed media collages feature oil paint on canvas and wood panel. History, world cultures and a stir-crazy wanderlust inspired these pieces; most of which were created while in self- isolation during the 2020 pandemic.

Kyle has shown his recent series at Kansas City’s Leopold Gallery and Art Consultation and Jones Gallery in 2020. He is the featured Kansas artist at The Great American Paint In, a website dedicated to showcasing original works created by artists during the 2020 lockdown. Kyle also has custom works in the personal collections of Actors Michael Rooker, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, James Gunn, Doug Jones and Jason Mewes.
