Kyle Stanley is a Kansas City-based artist and video producer whose work spans oil painting, mixed media collage, and illustration. With a background in Studio Art and Graphic Design, Kyle has spent years refining a distinctive style that blends history, storytelling, and layered textures.
Deeply inspired by history and folklore, Kyle’s art often weaves antique maps, postcards, and ephemera into atmospheric compositions, overlaid with ghostly figures. A recent series explores themes of history, world cultures, and personal narrative, much of it born from self-reflection during the 2019 pandemic.
Kyle’s work has been exhibited at Kansas City’s Leopold Gallery, Jones Gallery, in addition to being selected as a featured artist for The Great American Paint In, a national collection of works created during lockdown. You can find Kyle’s art in private and public collections around the world.
