Created by collaging antique postcards, sheet music and National Geographic magazine clippings. Oil paint and collage.

This is my interpretation of Luna, the Moon Goddess on the moon tarot card.
This piece was created by collaging antique postcards, maps and other ephemera. I then apply oil paint on top of the items.
24 x 36 x 1.5 on wood panel (available for purchase, message for inquiries)

Finishing this lovely lady today. I added a small amount of gold leaf to various parts of the panel.

Just finished this small piece. Antique postcards and newspaper collaged on canvas, topped with oil paint.

Here is my newest piece. 24 x 36″ titled “mystic”

I started this piece early last week. It is a large 48 x 36″ canvas. I began by sketching the figures directly onto the canvas with vine charcoal. Once I achieve a general composition I am happy with, I start collaging items onto the canvas or wood panel. Most of the items used in the collage are late 1800 early 1900 postcards, maps, and magazine cutouts. They are applied to the surface with an acrylic gel medium (matte) Once the surface is covered with the collaged pieces and dried, I work over it with oil paint, adding color and detail.

This is a close up detail shot of a work in progress. I started this piece about 2 weeks ago.
