Collage and Oil Painting

Each piece was created by collaging antique ephemera, such as National Geographic magazines, maps, sheet music, postcards and hand written letters. Oil paint is then applied using a glazing technique allowing the collaged items to show through. Each piece is heavily embedded with rich symbolism and hidden elements for the viewer to discover. History, folklore, ghost stories and old fables are all threads that run throughout this collection.
