Collage and Oil Painting
Each mixed media piece begins with a base of antique ephemera: old maps, vintage magazines, hand written letters, sheet music, and other paper relics. The fragments are layered together, then build upon with oil paint to create a sense of depth and time. The process is intuitive and often evolves as the pieces progress.
